1) Edit /etc/sysconfig/network to contain the correct hostname.
2) Edit the /etc/hosts file to reflect the chaged name.
2) Run 'service network restart'.
3) To update the value returned from the hostname command. (i.e. change prompt on the shell) issue 'hostname
4) Reboot.
